Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Flingo ("we", "us") governing your use of the FlipFiction Android application and the website at flipfiction.com (collectively, the "Service"). By installing or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

The Service is rated for ages 3+. If you are under 13, you may use FlipFiction only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Some features (e.g., in-app purchases) require an adult Google Play account.

3. Your account

You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Keep your sign-in credentials safe. You may delete your account at any time from within the app or by emailing info.flingo@gmail.com.

4. Content and intellectual property

All stories, artwork, branding, and software inside FlipFiction are owned by Flingo or licensed to us by the original authors. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to read the content within the app. You may not:

• Republish, sell, or commercially exploit FlipFiction content.
• Scrape, mass-download, or extract content programmatically.
• Remove or alter copyright, trademark, or other notices.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Break any law, including intellectual property and privacy law.
• Harass, defame, or threaten other users or our team.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to disable any part of the Service.
• Use the Service in connection with malware, spam, or automated abuse.

6. In-app purchases & advertising

FlipFiction is free to download. Some features may be offered as optional in-app purchases processed through Google Play Billing. Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Google Play under their refund policy. The free tier displays advertising from Google AdMob.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these Terms. You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the app and deleting your account.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all content will always be available.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flingo's total liability for any claim arising out of the Service will not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ₹100, whichever is greater.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Assam, India, unless otherwise required by your local law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and notify you in-app.
